We support queer and migrant individuals as they navigate professional paths, identity questions and life transitions across cultures. Our work is grounded in cultural sensitivity, trust and genuine human connection. We take the time to understand individual experiences and provide coaching that is personal, respectful and empowering.

Our Team
Thorsten Löffler
Founder
Thorsten is the Founder and Coach at Rooted Beyond. He supports queer people and migrants in strengthening their identity and confidently claiming their place in society and professional life. Drawing from personal experience, he understands how exhausting and disempowering toxic work environments can be.
His mission is to empower clients to find — and help create — environments that truly align with who they are. Thorsten’s coaching approach is queer-affirmative, interculturally sensitive, and resource-oriented, offering a supportive and empowering space for sustainable personal and professional growth.
Thorsten is trained as an Integral Coach at the University of Cape Town and holds an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. Before becoming self-employed, he worked as an Integration Officer for a large facility management company in Berlin. Having lived in South Africa for several years, he continues to work internationally as a trainer and coach in South Africa and Namibia.
His background also includes several years of professional experience in recruiting, personnel services, and a degree in economics with a focus on human resources.
Uchenna Jonas
Co-Founder
Uchenna Jonas is a Berlin-based Diversity Marketing Coach and an experienced social media marketing expert. After completing his studies in International Business Management, he gained extensive hands-on experience as a Marketing Manager at a Berlin start-up, where he deepened his expertise in e-commerce and customer acquisition through social media.
Inspirational stays in South Korea and France, along with his training as an IHK-certified Business Coach, further shaped his understanding of diversity, empowerment, and personal development.
Through his work, Uchenna supports self-employed professionals and organizations in building authentic visibility and impactful brand presence — with a strong focus on queer empowerment, intersectionality, and inclusive brand communication. His mission is to make diversity visible as a strength in both life and work, true to his motto: Show yourself as you are. 🌟
